Fiona joined the Valley West Veterinary Hospital team in February 2022 and recently became part of the Elk Valley Veterinary Hospital team as a Farm Call Veterinary Assistant. Raised on a farm in Roane, West Virginia, she has extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals.
Her professional interests in veterinary medicine include farm calls, lifestyle preventative care, and annual wellness exams, and she enjoys continuing to expand her knowledge by attending CE conferences covering all areas of veterinary medicine—both large and small animal.
Outside of work, Fiona enjoys spending time with her family and pets, riding horses, and traveling with her dogs. At home, she stays busy caring for her own animals, which include five dogs, five horses, four cats, and a flock of chickens.
